My first experience with speaking to Kim English was at the introductory press conference at George Mason.

English stood on stage and spoke like a young, confident coach who believed every word from his mouth.

He wasn't trying to win the press conference. He wasn't trying to win over anyone sitting there.

He was setting a standard for what to expect from George Mason basketball.
