Mason Isn't a One-Year Wonder (VIP)
Tony Skinn is successfully building George Mason into the program it could always be
Last March, George Masonβs chances to make the tournament died 40 minutes from campus, depending on traffic, with a loss to VCU in the Atlantic 10 Tournament finals.
There was an argument for the Patriots to get an at-large bid, but letβs not forget, the NCAA tournament is a television show more than anything else, and the powers that be didnβt feel like Mason should be included in the production.
As I spoke about on the Full Court DMV podcast, itβs Masonβs second chance to get the program to that place after fumbling the 2006 Final Four run.
