It’s being reported by several media outlets that Ryan Odom is leaving for the University of Virginia (UVA).
When Odom was the coach of UMBC, he led the Retrievers to an upset win over UVA in the NCAA Tournament. It was the first time a 16-seed beat a 1-seed.
What's the next move for VCU?
Outside of Gonzaga, there's an argument that VCU is the best mid-major job in the country, so there wouldn't be a shortage of quality candidates if the job opens.
