The Hoyas gave one away at home against Xavier. Can Georgetown make up for it when St. John's comes to Capital One on New Year's Eve?

Georgetown looks to end the calendar year on a high note when they host the St. John’s Red Storm.

The Hoyas (9-4, 1-1) have won three of their last four, including last Monday’s 97-67 win against Coppin State.

In the Big East, Georgetown has a road win at Marquette and a home loss to Xavier. The Hoyas are looking to avoid opening the conference schedule with back-to-back home losses.

St. John’s (8-4, 1-0) is coming off a win over Harvard. In the Red Storm’s only Big East game, Rick Pitino’s bunch downed DePaul 79-66.
